An old friend who needed a logo for her soon-to-open neighborhood coffeeshop had one key criteria: frugal implementation.
Inspired by the shop interior’s homespun vibe, the finished identity paired hand drawn letterforms with whimsical line art. To fill things out, a small family of illustrations was also produced. The logo and illustrations were simple enough to be hand painted on store windows, and rubber-stamped on paper cups, pastry case signage, and sandwich labels, which kept production costs to a minimum.
