INTIMAN THEATRE
Intiman needed an invitation for their 2009 fundraising gala that would feel sophisticated and special, despite a shoestring budget. The solution was a hand crafted typographic illustration and an economical 2-color print job that used a metallic ink.
The following year, Intiman’s gala committee decided to fill the theater lobby with jewel-toned paper lanterns. That idea inspired an abstract illustration that served as the graphic motif for the 2010 invitation. Iridescent paper was used for the main invite card, while accompanying inserts were printed with a single ink on inexpensive stock to save on production costs.
