Urban Gardenshare matches eager but landless city gardeners with willing neighbors’ unused plots. This passion project was dreamed up during a night out drinking bourbon with Amy Pennington, a Seattle based author, gardener, and all-around food maven. Talented web developers Colin Saunders and Jesse Dawson, rounded out the team.
A clean, straightforward user interface enabled rapid technical development, and helped users get up and running with minimal hassle. The site has received local and national media attention, and continues to garner rave reviews from neighbors no longer suffering dirt envy.
