PopCap jump-started an entire industry with the release of Bejeweled, the world’s most successful casual game. A years-long relationship with PopCap’s internal design team resulted in the completion of brand defining projects that included: retail packaging, promotional materials, videos, and even custom taxi cabs.

BEJEWELED LOGO REFRESH

As PopCap prepared to add Bejeweled Twist to their family of match-3 puzzle games, there was an opportunity to polish the Bejeweled logo. The original had suddenly become an uneasy fit with the new game’s luminescent visuals.

Working closely with PopCap’s packaging designers, the letterforms were painstakingly reworked, and color and dimensional effects were revised to make the new version feel more sophisticated, without getting too serious.
